Every surface of the L8 is shaped by Leopard Aesthetics, LEPAS's design philosophy that draws on the fluid power and precision of the leopard to inform the proportions, lines and detailing of the vehicle.

The L8's defining front-end feature: full LED headlights shaped in the distinctive angular outline of the leopard eye, with a chrome surround that gives the face its character.

The sculpted rear of the L8 takes its influence from the flowing, refined forms of Chinese porcelain, bringing a softness and crafted quality to the bodywork that sets it apart from conventional SUV design.

The L8 is available is a range of premium metallic finishes, including bold tones designed to express the brand's confidence, expressive identity.

Interior Space and Comfort

At 2,800mm, the L8's wheelbase is among the longest in its class, creating a rear cabin that genuinely accommodates adult passengers.

Multi-layered seat construction supports occupants across a wide range of body types, with reclining rear seats that adjust to preference.

With up to 6.6kW of external output via the V2L (vehicle-to-load) system, the LEPAS L8 can power external devices, appliances or equipment directly from its battery.

When Does the LEPAS L8 Go on Sale in the UK?

Pre-orders for the LEPAS L8 open in July 2026, with first customer deliveries from September 2026. The L8 is the first model to launch the LEPAS brand in the UK, with the L6 mid-size SUV and the smaller L4 SUV set to follow later in the year.

How Much Will the LEPAS L8 Cost?

The LEPAS L8 PHEV starts from £34,900 RRP on-the-road in Essence trim. The higher-specification Elevate trim starts from £37,900 RRP on-the-road.

What Warranty Does the LEPAS L8 Come With?

The LEPAS L8 comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the high-voltage battery system. All models also include up to 7 years of RAC Roadside Assistance as standard.

Is the LEPAS L8 a Plug-In Hybrid?

Yes. Both L8 trim levels launch as plug-in hybrids (PHEV), powered by the LEPAS Super Hybrid System. The 18.4kWh battery can be charged from an external power source for electric-only driving, with the petrol engine providing extended range beyond that. CO2 emissions of just 21g/km mean the L8 qualifies to drive free of charge in London's ULEZ. A fully electric version of the L8 will follow in 2027.

What Is the Electric Range of the LEPAS L8?

The LEPAS L8 delivers a pure electric range of up to 56 miles and a combined range of up to 745 miles.*

Can You Fast Charge the LEPAS L8?

Yes. The LEPAS L8 supports DC fast charging, capable of charging the 18.4kWh battery from 30% to 80% in as little as 20 minutes.

How Big Is the LEPAS L8?

The LEPAS L8 is a large five-seat SUV built on the LEX platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase, offering rear legroom of 970mm.

What Safety Features Does the LEPAS L8 Have?

All LEPAS L8 models come with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems as standard, including autonomous emergency braking (AEB), emergency lane-keeping (ELK), front distance monitoring (FDM), adaptive cruise control (ACC), and intelligent speed limit control (ISLC). Every L8 also has 10 airbags.

Elevate models add front parking sensors, a 540° panoramic camera system, advanced parking assist, and remote parking assist, which allows the vehicle to manoeuvre into or out of a parking space while the driver stands outside the car.

What Is the Difference Between LEPAS L8 Essence and Elevate?

Both trim levels share the same LEPAS Super Hybrid powertrain, core safety systems, and infotainment setup. The differences are focused on comfort, luxury, and refinement.

Elevate adds 20-inch wheels (versus 19-inch on Essence), acoustic laminated front windows, Active Engine Noise Cancellation, heated and power-adjustable front seats with cooling and massage functions, a hands-free power tailgate, heated windscreen, 256-colour ambient interior lighting, in-car fragrance technology, puddle lights, front parking sensors, a 540° panoramic camera, advanced parking assist, remote parking assist, and a Sony Premium 8-speaker audio system.
