Trust is growing in franchise dealerships!

Consumers trust in Franchised dealers is growing, especially when it comes to competitive pricing and professional customer service.
The NFDA (National Franchised Dealers Association) undertook a consumer attitude survey, which polled 2,000 consumers across the UK. The main objective was to understand consumers attitudes and perceptions of after sales service providers in the UK.
Franchised dealers came out on top, with 83% of consumers claiming they were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with their experience at a franchised dealership.
Franchised dealers scored highest when consumers were asked who they think would be the safest to get their car serviced over independent garages. Consumers believed that this was because franchised dealers are driven by an association with relevant technical equipment and expertise in the type of work the vehicle requires. In addition to this, they were also voted the most trusted to service all engine types.
The chairman of the NFDA Mark Squires added “"As cars get more complex, I think the expectation among consumers will increasingly be that they want technicians trained on their specific car, by the manufacturer who made it to do the work.”
At Day’s we have 5 franchised dealerships, with staff trained by the manufacturers. We also used the manufacturer’s diagnostic equipment and parts, so who best to look at your vehicle than those who know it inside out?
