Peugeot came out on top with only 77 faults reported per 100 cars. Skoda came in second with 88, and Ford weren’t far behind in 9th place with 104. See below for the full list.
The 2019 UK Vehicle Dependability Study is based on responses from 11,530 owners, it measures problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of vehicles in the UK after 12-36 months of ownership, from November 2018 through January 2019.
Technology over time has become more sophisticated and is considered a point of brand selection differentiation, however with some manufacturers it has created more potential problems.
Repurchase intention has increased, with 49% of respondents claiming they would definitely buy from the same brand again.
