We are extremely proud to have donated £500 to the Mumbles RNLI, through the Gareth Day Foundation.
The money will be used to help meet costs of saving lives at sea and includes the purchasing and maintenance of vital lifesaving equipment.
Yesterday we spent the morning at the Mumbles Lifeboat Station, where we presented a cheque and also got to meet some of the volunteers who work for the RNLI. We were taught how the lifeboat operates in an emergency and we were also fortunate enough to see it launch into the sea as part of a training excercise! Many thanks to Sid, Martin and the team for showing us around.

The Gareth Day Foundation has been set up to celebrate and commemorate the life of Gareth Day, son of the CEO of Day’s Motor Group, Mr Graham Day.
Gareth sadly passed away this year from a brain tumour which he bravely fought for many years. Gareth was a very popular and well-respected gentleman and all money raised through the foundation will be donated to charities and causes that were important to him.
