Day's have been looking after the motoring needs of the people of South Wales and beyond for 95 years and even in these unprecedented times, we do not intend to stop doing so.  Our sales and aftersales teams are here to help.  The safety and well-being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority, so  we’ve made some important changes to ensure that Day’s customers can buy or service a car with us safely.

As you will be aware, our showrooms are currently closed, but that doesn’t mean we are closed for business.  Our sales and support teams are on site to help you purchase a new or used vehicle from our extensive range of available stock.

The safety and well-being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority, so we’ve made some important changes to ensure that our customers can buy or service a car with us safely.

In line with the latest Government guidance, our dealership teams remain available on the phone, via email, livechat and online to support you with all of your vehicle buying needs. Please contact your local dealership directly to speak to them.

We are also pleased to offer our customers a click & collect service that allows you to safely browse and buy your next car from the comfort of your own home.

With click & collect, you can easily order your new Ford, Peugeot, Fiat or Iveco,  apply for finance and value your part exchange all remotely by speaking to our sales teams.  You can then arrange the safe collection of your next vehicle from a designated handover area at your local Day’s branch.  Please click here to find our branch contact details >>

If you are looking for a pre-owned vehicle, all of the above applies but as our Motorpark stock is all listed on our website, it can be reserved online for just a £99 deposit and you can also value your part exchange and apply for finance remotely. 

As we are unable to offer you a test drive due to the current restrictions, all of our used cars are supplied with a 7 day money back guarantee.  This means that if you are unhappy with the vehicle within the first 7 Days, we will exchange it for another vehicle in stock or issue you a refund.  Please click here for full terms and conditions >>

We have always taken the safety of our colleagues and customers very seriously and in the current climate that responsibility is even more critical.  As a result we have changed how we do vehicle handovers to ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues and respect government guidelines.

When it’s time to collect your new vehicle, a member of the team will contact you to complete as much of the relevant paperwork as possible over the phone and email.  Ahead of your visit, your vehicle will have been fully valeted and sanitised ready for collection.

Upon your arrival at the dealership, you’ll be greeted by a member of staff who will direct you to our click & collect handover area where you will be required to apply disinfectant gel at the hand sanitising station.  We ask that you  follow any instructional signs and maintain the recommended two metre distance.  In accordance with Government guidance all customers are required to wear a face covering, that covers your nose and mouth, for the duration of your visit with us.

Throughout your time at the dealership, our colleagues will also wear a face covering whenever they are interacting with you, even when talking to you from behind one of our protective screens.  If you do not have a face covering with you, a disposable face mask will be provided.  If your personal circumstances exempt you from wearing a face covering, please let the dealership team know.

If you have a part-exchange, a member of the team will re-appraise your car whilst you wait in the dedicated handover area. 

If there is any further paperwork that needs to be completed, you’ll be directed to the sanitised ‘signing space’ where the documents will be highlighted for your signature.

The sales executive will ensure social distancing measures are maintained throughout the entire collection process.  To ensure your click & collect’ appointment is as swift as possible, we will be offering a post-delivery digital handover on platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and FaceTime so we can answer more detailed questions around the features of your car.

Your sanitised keys will be given to you in a sealed envelope and you’ll be free to drive away in your new car!

During these uncertain times, we know that it isn’t always possible for our customers to attend our branches in person as they may have done previously.

That’s why we may be able to offer a home delivery option to our local new vehicle customers who have previously attended a Day's branch to choose their vehicle and complete vehicle order paperwork.  The process prior to handover will be the same as  it is with click & collect, with all documentation being completed electronically, however if you are local (10 mile radius) to our branches we may be able to arrange to drive the vehicle to you.  Rest assured your new car will have been sanitised prior to being driven; the driver will wear gloves and PPE and the drop off of the vehicle will be done in a socially distanced way ensuring both the safety of you the customer and our team member.  Should you live further afield and be unable to ‘click and collect’ we can arrange a transported delivery.  Due to the cost of doing so, there is a charge of £1.50 plus VAT per mile for this service.

For our Motorpark Used vehicle customers from around the UK who purchase their vehicles remotely and are not able to visit a Day’s Motorpark branch, there are home delivery options available.  Our standard delivery charge is £1.50 plus VAT per mile.
